Sorry it’s been so long since my last update! The good news is that there has not been a recurrence of the cancer. I was originally told the longer I go without a recurrence, the less likely there will be one. So my fingers are crossed.

The bad news is that Dr. Opth died, at age 50, several years ago. After he died, my checkups became less regular but I’m still getting them and am currently working on finding a good ophthalmologist in the area where I now live.
